The foundation of dental health is preventative care that identifies and prevents oral health problems before they can negatively affect your wellbeing. Our discounted new patient appointment was designed to help with this. Though it isn’t quite as thorough as our standard preventative care appointment, it includes the services that matter most to your oral health. We're here to support you on your dental care journey!
Your discounted $99 appointment includes:
- Checkup by the doctor: Many dental diseases don’t have symptoms or cause pain in the early stages. By the time you’re experiencing pain or swelling, the disease has already progressed. Oral dental exams help catch problems early, when they're easier, less painful, and less expensive to treat.
- 30 minutes of scaling: Cavities and gum disease are caused by the bacteria that lives in the plaque that forms on your teeth. Brushing removes much of this plaque. But plaque that gathers and hardens into tartar at and below your gumline can only be removed by your hygenist through a process called scaling.
- Two Dental X-rays: Your dentist’s visual exam can catch a lot of concerns, but not all of them. Dental X-rays give us a view of the inside structures of your teeth and bones, which can provide important information to help plan necessary dental treatment.
